When you use our website or service, you are entrusting us with information. This information may be shared deliberately or inadvertently. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully as it affects you and it is important.

A short summary of our stance regarding your privacy is as follows:

  • That information will be provided to you free of charge, once a year, at your request.
  • You have the right to be forgotten and request your account information be deleted.
  • We will strive to respect your rights, no matter where in the world you are.
  • We will only share your information with you, in order to comply with applicable laws, to protect your rights, to fulfill business obligations, or to comply with active law enforcement investigations.


1. Law Enforcement

When contacted by law enforcement handling an active investigation, we will provide such information we have to assist that investigation. We do not condone illicit activity and appreciate your understanding in that regard. Any request by law enforcement that we believe to be overreaching or abusive of the legal system will result in our company retaining an attorney and working with law enforcement to narrow what is provided solely to what they need to accomplish their mission.

If material comes to light that demonstrates or suggests a person is in a dangerous situation that will possibly result in serious harm or death, we will contact law enforcement and provide them with the information that has concerned us.

2. What do we collect?

As stated above, we respect your privacy. The information we collect is a cookie to prevent abuse of our survey, and the information our client’s direct us to collect.

We use cookies or tracking technologies as needed to provide customers with accurate services. We pledge to minimize such tracking technology to solely that required to make our service functional. Please check our Cookie Policy (below) for further clarification.

The nature of our service is to assist our corporate customers in gathering information via survey. Such information you provide that may be identifying shall be encrypted and stored on the U Say servers. The information collected may include, but is not limited to: your phone number, e-mail, and name.

3. Use of Your Information

As stated above, we may collect such information as needed to make our service work for you and our customers.

Any information you provide is in order to facilitate you accessing our service. Our customers may request name, address, phone, or other information in order to provide you with better services.

U Say does not sell your information. What is provided to us is provided to our corporate customers per the terms of our contract with them. To understand how they use such information, we urge you to consult their website(s) to understand how such information may be used. We do not share the information past that point.

4. Notifications and Use of E-Mail

When you provide U Say with your name, email address, client info, mailing address or telephone number, and you do not "opt-out", U Say and U Say representatives and authorized affiliates may use and or archive, provided information to alert you to product updates, special offers, updated information, new products and any other relevant area that would benefit.

U Say will send notifications regarding product updates and technical support notices. These messages are deemed essential to the functionality of your product and as such, there is no "opt-out" available for update notifications.

If you do not want U Say products or U Say representatives to contact you, you may "opt-out" at any time. You may "opt-out" by contacting U Say Customer Service Department or by following the instructions included in the email correspondence or on the U Say website.

5. Marketing

We do not provide your personally identifying information, user content, or material to marketing partners. The information you provide in our surveys is shared solely with the corporate customer who sent you to our website.

U Say does not touch, review, or in some manner manipulate data it receives from surveys, unless authorized to do so by our corporate clients for technical support issues. As such, your personally identifiable information is not marketed by U Say.

We may choose to aggregate data anonymously in order to prepare benchmarks and demonstrations. In such instance, the data is aggregated,remains anonymous, and your personally identifiable data remains encrypted.

Our corporate customers may use information that you choose to provide. We cannot control what they do and advise you to consult with the entity that directed you to our site or survey on how they utilize information.

For visitors to our website: cookies are required for your use and enjoyment of the website. We may use cookies for retargeting, which is meant to provide additional opportunities for you that align with your interests and our marketing partners. Such retargeting may involve the use of cookies that track your Internet travels after you leave our site.

6. Protection of Information

When personal information is required, the U Say website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to transmit this data. This is done to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of the information you have offered. While U Say strives to protect the personal information you submit to us, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. As such, U Say cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our products and you do so at your own risk. Once your information has been received by U Say, we will make our best effort to ensure the safety and security on our systems.

As stated elsewhere in this policy, should we become aware of a breach, all affected parties will be promptly notified.

7. GDPR Compliance

U Say is global. We offer our service worldwide and we strive to comply with applicable laws and regulations, no matter where we go.

To that end we recognize that the European Union has enacted the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

U Say has appointed Mr. Thanakorn Jarupanitkul to serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO). He may be contacted at thanakorn (at) with questions and concerns. We choose to appoint a DPO in this instance because information is processed systemically, on a wide scale, and involves possible sensitive materials.

U Say does not handle material applicable under Article 3(2) of the GDPR. Accordingly, it does not have an Article 27 representative. Should circumstances change, this will be updated accordingly.

Data breaches will be reported to the applicable authority as soon as they’re discovered. Customers will be notified promptly and all steps required to protect their information will be taken. This may go so far as U Say shutting down processes, applications, and programs to minimize the breach. We apologize in the event of such disruption.

To find out what information is retained by U Say about you, please contact the DPO, provide your information, and we will strive to comply in a timely manner. Deletion of your information may be requested in a similar manner, with an affirmative statement acknowledging and accepting that such deletion is irreversible.

8. California Residents

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83, permits our California based customers to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about personal information we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.

If you are a California resident and would like to make a request related to California law, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the application, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the application. To request removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below, and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California.

Please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems. We will do everything within our power to remove it.

Per California’s new AB 375 “The Consumer Privacy Act”, set to take effect in 2020, U Say will remain open and honest in its dealings with California customers. We will update this section accordingly.

9. Privacy Policy Updates

As needed we will update our privacy policy in order to comply with the applicable laws and regulations that govern how we do business. As stated above, by using our website or contributing to surveys you consent to and accept such changes. You have the right to be notified by e-mail of those updates. Should you opt-out of our e-mail notifications you knowingly acknowledge and accept such changes.

If you disagree with an update to this policy you may contact us and request deletion of your information, cease and desist use of our website or surveys, and we will move forward accordingly.

Cookie Policy

  1. As reflected in our Privacy Policy, we may use cookies or other tracking tools to assist with the use of our services.
  2. The information collected with visitor cookies and through the hosted tracking is used to gain a better understanding of which sections of our site are most important to our users as well as identify possible navigation issues. This allows us to enhance your user experience in the future. The data collected from these visitor cookies and hosted tracking does not collect any personally identifiable information and is used in aggregate form only.
  3. Such cookies will be used to prevent repeat survey takers, to permit customers to access the functions of the site, and may track those who leave the site for retargeting purposes.
  4. U Say does not monetize the data generated by the cookies, however we may utilize cookies to assist with retargeting, which provides marketing materials of interest to you.
  5. When the cookies or tracking tools are not necessary, U Say will not use them.
  6. When the information generated by the cookies or survey systems are no longer required, U Say will delete it.
